To make the most of your time at Algonquin College, choose living arrangements that fit your lifestyle, comfort level and budget. We recommend that you confirm your living arrangements before arriving in Ottawa to start your program.

- The minimum stay with Homestay is 8 weeks. All 8-week fees must be paid at time of application
- $775/4 weeks (28 days) + $175 placement fee (a $500.00 refundable security deposit is to be paid at time of application)
- TOTAL FEES for a 8-week minimum Homestay to be paid at time of application are: $2,225 ($175 + (2 x $775) + $500)
- Algonquin’s Residence is located on the Ottawa (Woodroffe) campus, close to the College and other amenities

- Common areas include Games Room, Laundry Room and TV lounge
- Meal plans are mandatory for first-year residents
- $6,900+ $1910 meal plan for the academic year (8 months)

- Make your own arrangements by visiting the Housing Board
- Apartment: $600-$800/month + utilities + food + living expenses
- Room: $6250+ $1800 meal plan
