Student Experience

Learn interactive multimedia with a hands-on approach

Students in the Interactive Multimedia Developer program at Algonquin College work on projects in a team-based environment and learn about the multimedia industry with a hands-on approach. Initially, students learn the ‘tools of the trade’, before moving on to electronic communications, documentation, design, programming and game development. The final stage of the program allows for the practical combination of theory and skill into a series of individual projects, as well as a number of team-based applications. Finally, students apply what they’ve learned in the real world with an eight-week field placement.
